Why are some animals loved and protected while others are treated as products, pests or problems? No Speciesism is the film that began Same Life Same Right. It asks how the labels people give animals affect the way their lives are valued.
A WIDER FIELD OF VIEW
THE PROJECT HAS GROWN
Same Life Same Right began with speciesism and the categories people create for animals. The project now also looks at hunting, urban wildlife, old trees, fungi and the relationships that hold ecosystems together. The subjects have widened, but the invitation remains the same: look closely before deciding what matters.
SHORT FILMS
The films move between close observation and difficult questions. Their subjects range from ducks, moths and urban foxes to speciesism, hunting, old trees and the hidden networks of fungi.
EDUCATIONAL KITS
